Our hero is sitting in a high-chair at his own narrow high-table in the back of a Pepper's in Terminal C. He is scraping the mayonnaise off the top slice of Texas toast with a butter knife. He uses the bottom slice to sop up the extra mayo still clinging to the turkey and swiss and discards both slices on top of his french fries. Most, if not all of us, have multiple mes, representations of ourselves. We use them to present our selves, with certain aspects emphasized, to the public and private world. Not understanding why the pieces were in black and white, my friend and I read the descriptions and realized that these amazing and powerful pieces were destroyed by the Nazis in 1945.

I don't even know how to describe how sad and depressing that is. Clearly, this doesn't begin to compare to the fact that the Nazis murdered and tortured millions and millions of human beings, but somehow it makes me mourn separately.

Well, since you asked, it's the most recent post to twitter with the word 'wtf' in it. Damn people are interesting. What's really weird is the entry I'm looking at now is commenting in spanish about how cool Prefuse 73 is, and I just happen to be listening to Prefuse 73 in a spanish speaking country. Small fucking world.
